Blue Ribbon Design is a graphic design studio and wholesaler in lower Manhattan that specializes in letterpress greeting cards, stationery and invitations. Owner and designer Kimberly Driessen founded Blue Ribbon Design in 2005 as a personalized invitation and announcement design service. In 2006, Blue Ribbon expanded its offerings to include a line of letterpress greeting cards and stationery, and in 2007 added a line of letterpress wedding invtations that is now available nationwide.
In addition to it's retail lines, Blue Ribbon offers custom design services for both private and commercial clients, including bespoke social stationery, corporate and charity event invitations, and the developement of exclusive retail products and licensed artwork.  Motivated by a life-long love of decorative pattern and ornament, designer Kimberly Driessen draws inspiration from a wide range of decorative arts including textiles, botanical prints, china patterns, and New York City's historic ironwork. The resulting designs are rich with references to the past, yet utterly modern in their simplicity, elegance and exquisite craftsmanship.
